RANK STRUCTURE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT

STATE COMMISSIONER

The Commissioner is in charge of keeping the San Andreas State Police Operations flowing. The Commissioner will be the last line of defense within the SASP Chain of Command. The Commissioner is directed by the Gunslingers Roleplay Executive Team.

DEPUTY STATE COMMISSIONER

​

The Deputy State Commissioner is directly under the State Commissioner and is responsible for all of the Commissioner’s duties when he/she is absent. The Deputy Commissioner will coordinate all the activities of the San Andreas State Patrol The Deputy Commissioner directly supervises the Asst. State Commissioner and below.

ASST. STATE COMMISSIONER

 

The Asst. State Commissioner is directly under the Deputy State Commissioner and is responsible for all of the Commissioner’s duties when he/she is absent. The Asst. State Commissioner will coordinate all the activities of the San Andreas State Police. The Asst. State Commissioner directly supervises the Captain and Below.

STATE CHIEF

 

The State Chief is directly under Asst. State Commissioner in rank, but also answers to the Commissioner. The State Chief is responsible for all Troopers. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Assisting the Commissioner in activities.

• Assisting the Deputy Commissioner in activities

• Assisting the Deputy Commissioner in obtaining sufficient amounts of members for activities

• Assisting the Deputy Commissioner with maintaining Department’s accounting of patrols activity

• Evaluations of all ranks

• Oversees day to day operations

• Other duties as directed

ASST. STATE CHIEF

 

The Asst. State Chief is directly under State Chief in rank, but also answers to the Commissioner. The State Chief is responsible for all Troopers.

The responsibilities are listed below.

• Assisting the Commissioner in activities.

• Assisting the State Chief in activities

• Assisting the State Chief in obtaining sufficient amounts of members for activities

• Assisting the State Chief with maintaining Department’s accounting of patrols activity

• Evaluations of all ranks

• Oversees day to day operations

• Other duties as directed

CAPTAIN

​

The State Captain is directly under Asst. State Chief in rank. The State Captain is responsible for all Troopers, as well. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Assisting the Commissioner in activities

• Assisting with maintaining Department’s accounting of patrols attended Evaluations of ranks

• Oversees day to day operations

• Other duties as directed

 

PATROL LIEUTENANT

​

The State Lieutenant is directly under State Captain in rank. The State Lieutenant is responsible for all Troopers. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Assisting the State Captain in activities

• Oversee all subdivisions

• Assisting the State Captain in obtaining sufficient amounts of members for activities

• Shift Commander

• Revises department forms and documents for the evaluation of Sergeant and Corporal

• Other duties as directed

MASTER SERGEANT

​

The State Master Sergeant is directly under State Lieutenant in rank. The State Master Sergeant is responsible for a majority of Troopers. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Assisting the State Lieutenant in activities

• Assisting the State Lieutenant in obtaining sufficient amounts of members for activities

• Shift Commander / Shift Supervisor

• Evaluation of Corporals and Troopers Shift Commander / Shift Supervisor

• Evaluation of Corporals and Troopers

• Looks over all daily department filled forms.

• Deals with in game fractions.

• UPDATES the CoC master roster.

• Supervises ALL team leaders helping if they have a concern, issue etc. Other duties as directed

SERGEANTS 

Sergeants are directly under State Master Sergeant in rank. The Sergeants are responsible for a majority of Troopers. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Assisting the State Master Sergeant in activities

• Shift Commander / Shift Supervisor

• Evaluation of Corporals and Troopers

• Looks over all daily department filled forms.

• Deals with in game fractions.

• UPDATES the CoC master roster.

SENIOR CORPORAL

The State Senior Corporal is directly under State Sergeants in rank. The State Senior Corporal is responsible for normal Trooper duties, with additional Leadership Task. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Act as Field Supervisor when a Sergeant is not present

• Completion of all activities and assignments

• Respond to calls

• Other duties as directed

CORPORAL

​

The State Corporal is directly under State Senior Corporal in rank. The State Corporal is responsible for normal Trooper duties, with additional Leadership Task. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Act as Field Supervisor when a Senior Corporal - Sergeant is not present Completion of all activities and assignments

• Respond to calls

• Completion of all activities and assignments

• Other duties as directed

STATE TROOPER

 

State Trooper is the general rank of every San Andreas State Police member. The responsibilities are listed below.

• Completion of all activities and assignments

• Respond to calls

• Other duties as directed

PROBATIONARY

 

Probationary Troopers rank is given to all new potential trooper recruits upon entry into San Andreas State Police. The responsibilities are listed below.
